Have you ever loved a brush so much it hurts? That’s how I feel about this one! Sedona Lace really have a winner on their hands!
This Synthetic Blender brush really impressed me! I received it for free during a promotion and I couldn’t be happier! It’s great for both eyeshadow and concealer. Plus it’s perfect for contouring your nose!
Nail art is all the rage this spring and I’m caught up in the frenzy too! Last week I rushed to the salon for a fresh gel manicure. Instead of getting the full polish treatment I decided to skip it and start being my own nail artist!
Elf is offering 10 free mineral eyeshadows of your choice with your purchase of $30 or more! They’re a steal at $3 each but this offer makes them even more appealing!
I love falsies! But lately I’ve been on the lazy side and haven’t really been feeling like applying any. No big deal! I had a couple tubes of mascara lying around that I’ve never opened. Perfect time to try them out! First up, Clinique’s High Impact!
I bought a Clinique set a while ago at the Cosmetics Company Outlet for like $15 which included some eye makeup remover, eyeshadow and blush palette, mirror, bag, and of course this lovely full sized beauty! Yes! All of that for $15! This usually costs $15 alone!
This mascara comes in a large green tube with the product name imprinted in silver with a long silver cap. It’s not the worst but it’s not that appealing either. That doesn’t bother me though! It’s pretty sturdy and I don’t mind a little green. 😉
The wand is a pretty nice size and the applicator is pretty long so you can really get in there! The bristles are very dense. Almost a little too dense at times. This wand can pick up A LOT of product at once. I always wipe the excess off any mascara but I was wiping off globs with this one sometimes.
I have short, thick and curly lashes and this formula seems like its pretty great at giving my lashes a gorgeous lift but the wand may cause clumping and sometimes doesn’t separate well. The only thing negative I can really say about the formula itself is that it can make your lashes a little firm. Not a big deal for me but if you’re looking for super soft luscious lashes after a coat of mascara this isn’t it!
But don’t count it out just yet! I plan on picking up some other mascara wands to see if it really does make a difference. Either way the results will probably be amazing! Check out the before and after!
Amazing improvement in just two coats! I don’t really like the thick wand but I love the way this mascara transforms my lashes! I can’t wait to try it with a less dense wand!
Last night I went out with my bff/roommate to see the super hilarious Think Like a Man flick. It was super star packed and kept me giggling. Kevin Hart is incredibly funny to me!
Anyway, I decided to rock my signature neutral smokey eye and sultry cat eye. I was finally able to get the prefect line! I’ve been practicing with my Urban Decay 24/7 liquid liner and it’s definitely been paying off!
If there is anything I can’t live without it’s definitely liner. I feel like liner can make or break a look. That’s why I think it’s really important to find a good liner.
And these beauties definitely meet the mark! They’re super rich, smooth and pigmented. They’re about $8 but totally worth it!
What I really love about these liners is that they’re super pointy! You can make both thin and thick lines with ease. Plus you get a lot of product at once so you won’t really have to sharpen often. The pencils are also small but not too small. They’re the perfect size for precision and control for me.
These are the darkest liners I’ve ever come across. Just one swipe gives you the perfect intensity! When L’Oreal said smoldering they meant it! These are perfect for smudging for the perfect natural smokey look! I wish they came in other colors other than brown and black but these are still a win!
Here’s some swatches!
They last all day without really losing its intensity! These do bleed a little in the corners but I find that setting with a powder eyeshadow really helps with that. Definitely a good buy!
When I first started applying makeup, a duo fibre brush was the first brush I couldn’t wait to get my hands on! I didn’t want to splurge back then so I snatched up the Elf Studio Stippling brush! I must say this brush was a pretty good investment!
I’ve been itching to try the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeshadow pencils I bought recently so yesterday I finally decided to give them a try!
I decided to add a pop of color and break out of the neutrals! (Thanks to Lady D for the inspiration!!)
It’s warming up and the semester is winding down! I’m ready for more vibrant looks and nights out with my girls!
