Loreal Colour Caresse Lipstick Haul & Swatches

With the fall season here and in full force I was feeling the pressure to stock up on some nice, dark fall lippies. I’m a total bright lip freak but I’ve been loving plum and wine this season so I decided to set out to Walgreens and do a quick fall lippie haul. The first thing that caught my eye were these beautiful lipsticks. I’m a sucker for nice packaging so I picked up three of these gold tubes before heading out. They’re so cute and elegant!

The packaging is what really sold me on these lipsticks. Usually drugstore lipstick packaging is pretty plain and ordinary but these beauties give off more of a high end feel. They sort of remind me of the packaging on Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture lipsticks. The only major difference is that Loreal added a nice color strip on the tube for a peek at the shade inside. I think it’s super cute and pretty smart too. Nice job, Loreal!

I picked up three gorgeous shades that are perfect for the fall and winter seasons! I ended up with Sheer Linen, Silky Java and Satiny Cocoa. Sheer Linen is beige toned nude with a hint of pink undertones. Silky Java is more of a plum color with slight brown undertones. Satiny Cocoa is my favorite of the three. It’s a deep burgundy shade that screams fall. It’s such a pretty color! Check out the swatches!

These lipsticks feel really nice and moisturizing. They kind of remind me of the Colour Riche balm formula but these are much more pigmented. I can’t wait to slip these on! I bet they’ll feel awesome. If they wear well I may have found my new favorite drugstore lippie!
