I really hate that I’ve been so busy! I’ve been waiting to rave about the MAC Temperature Rising collection for what seems like an eternity! A lot of items may be a little difficult to track down since it’s been out for over a week (and limited edition) but I just couldn’t keep the excitement to myself. I have fallen in LOVE with EVERYTHING!
Temperature Rising has replaced Glamour Daze as my favorite limited edition collection! MAC has really outdone themselves with this one! Temperature Rising featured a bronze theme complete with beautiful bronze packaging. Everything you’ll need for a gorgeous bronze goddess look is in this collection! There’s shimmer, glitter and more!
From left to right: Altered Beige lipstick, Sheer Seduction lipstick, Liquid Passion lip glass
For once I didn’t go lippie crazy over a collection! The lippies in this collection were gorgeous but not too exciting for me. I do like a few of them though! Altered Beige is a light pinky beige nude that’s really pretty but has to be paired with a liner for me. It’s a little too frosty for me to wear it alone too often. Sheer Seduction was the standout shade for me! It’s a beautiful orangey bronze that’s great for layering. I like Sheer Seduction on its own but I love the way it looks with pink liners and gloss! Liquid Passion was a no brainer! It’s very opaque and isn’t as milky as my other nude MAC glosses. I love it!
From left to right: Refined Golden bronzer, Ripe for Love blush
I could have gotten Refined Golden sooner but of course I waited to get it just for the packaging lol. I just love it! It’s a soft bronze shade with golden micro shimmer that looks very natural and gives a nice sheen. I love using it on my light makeup days. Ripe for Love is another favorite of mine! It’s the perfect summer blush! The warm peach color really adds warmth and it looks great on just about everyone. It’s nice to see a peach blush from MAC that’s WOC friendly!
From left to right: Romantico, Bare My Soul, Friendly, When in Rio
The Bare My Soul eyeshadow quad is yet another fave! As you can see I have a lot of faves in this collection! I considered skipping this quad because at first glance it doesn’t look like anything special but it’s just beautiful on. I’ve been wearing it religiously and I can’t see myself stopping soon! My favorite eyeshadow shades are all in one place and When In Rio is just to die for! The duochrome effect is even more stunning in person!
From left to right: Man Rays To The Beach Bronzing Oil, Golden Elixir Strobe Liquid
The liquid illuminators were definitely the stars of the show! I was so excited to get my hands on them and they certainly did not disappoint! Both Man Rays and Golden Elixir are extremely gorgeous. The glow factor is just insane! Both can be mixed into your foundation or worn as highlighters. I like to use both as a glowy base for my powder. Since Man Rays is a bit darker I prefer it a tiny bit over Golden Elixir but both are just stunning! This collection was definitely a knockout!
