Jack Black Lemon Chamomile Intense Therapy Lip Balm Review

Untitled

Move over Dior Addict Lip Glow! I have found my holy grail balm! It’s so good I think I’m done trying out other balms for a little while. Okay, maybe not. But Jack Black’s Intense Therapy lip balm is just perfect! I have tried many balms before but none has quite hydrated my dry, cracked lips like this one. Not only does it feel amazing but it helps the wear of my lipsticks tremendously!

Unlike Dior Glow, Jack Black Intense Therapy balm doesn’t come in any fancy luxury packaging but it comes without the luxury price tag which is a nice plus. It comes in a simple blue tube that you squeeze gently to dispense the product. Very functional but it can get a little messy. I pushed out way too much the first time I used it lol.

I picked the lemon chamomile flavor because it smelled the best to me. It has a sweet yet citrus smell that lingers for a little while after application but isn’t harsh. The texture of this balm is thick but not still has great slip. It doesn’t feel tacky or heavy at all. Because it’s so thick it lasts a bit longer than most balms. I get about 3-4 hours of wear which is very impressive! What won me over about the Jack Black Intense Therapy balm is the way it transforms my lipsticks. Even the driest of formulas don’t bother me! I don’t get half as much feathering as I did with other balms and the end result always looks soft and smooth. If you don’t have much of an issue with dry, cracked peeling lips then the Jack Black Intense Therapy balm may be a bit too heavy and thick for you. But if you’re like me and have an undying love for thick buttery balms then you’re in for a treat! Head to your local Sephora or Nordstrom to give one a try!
