Don’t you just love NARS? I know I do! NARS just does everything right. Especially the blushes! I was pretty darn excited when the Matte Multiples released because I just knew they’d be a hit! I’m still in the process of testing these beauties but I still wanted to share some swatches and first impressions with you.Take a look!
I’m always excited over new makeup but I can’t even put in words how excited I was to get my hands on one of the limited edition MAC Proenza Schouler ombre blushes! All of MAC’s limited edition pieces are quite difficult to get your hands but these blushes were like unicorn status. Many have heard of their awesomeness but very few have actually gotten a chance to experience all the ombre goodness. Continue reading
Goodbye April showers and hello May flowers! Tomorrow marks the first day of May and I’m totally ready for it. Just a little bit longer until summer! April was still a really nice month for me though. Especially with all the new goodies I’ve hauled! I rediscovered a lot of old favorites this month but it seems like the new goodies are what really captured my heart. Let’s get started!
My Proenza Schouler haul is finally complete! Well, almost. I’m still debating on ordering Pinkfringe. Did I mention I was addicted to pink lipsticks? Anywho! My ombre blush has arrived! Which is a pretty big deal because MAC had some problems concerning the blushes. The collection was supposed to release earlier this month but was pushed back due to production issues. Somehow the release still turned out to be a disaster! A lot of people had problems tracking down the blushes at all and the ones who snagged them from MAC were sent the wrong shade. So color me excited when my Ocean City ombre blush arrived today from Nordstrom!
Milani isn’t all about awesome lipsticks and gloss. They’re pretty good at making blush too! I’ve been a fan of their baked blushes for quite some time so I was really excited when Milani decided to add some matte colors to the line. I really hope to see some new shades soon because I’m loving the formula so far! Continue reading
Well look who’s back! A couple of years ago MAC released a limited edition collection of blushes cutely named Tres Cheek. Today, some of the shades have come back to play at stores and counters and this time they’re permanent! It’s so nice to see some new additions to the permanent line up. Don’t you agree? Check it out!
I’m a huge beauty junkie so, of course, I spend a lot of my free time browsing other beauty blogs. It’s my guilty pleasure! Today, Karen over at Makeup and Beauty Blog (love, love, love her blog!) posted about some of her go to products for a “no makeup” look and it inspired me to post about my current everyday essentials!
Thanks to Kim Kardashian everyone is highlighting and contouring for the makeup gods. Now you can too! NARS has released a trio of new (and permanent) blushes that will highlight and contour a wide range of skin tones. They remind me of my Sleek Contour Kit but a little jazzier and, of course, more accessible for us stateside gals. I’m pretty set on contour powders at the moment but I can’t deny that these duos look pretty awesome. Take a look!
When MAC announced they were teaming up with the fashion geniuses behind Proenza Schouler the beauty world went wild! Proenza Schouler is a New York based women’s fashion line known for their mix of bold colors and patterns so it was only right that MAC chose to partner with the brand for their couture collection this year. I’m not all that familiar with the brand but because this collection features limited edition packaging and gorgeous ombre blushes I’m all over it! Honestly, who could resist? Proenza Schouler won’t be available in stores until April 3rd but expect to see it popping up online within the next couple of weeks!
Brows have been a hot topic in the beauty world for quite some time now. No matter where I turn there’s some type of brow talk going on! After seeing everyone rave online for weeks about how amazing the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade is my curiosity got the best of me. I just had to see what the hype was about!
