Skincare Routine

This is a post that is long overdue! A few people have asked me about my skincare routine and I’m ready to let you guys know how I take care of my skin on a daily basis. I don’t have any problems with acne and blemishes but I do have very sensitive skin that is prone to small breakouts. Because of this I’m pretty leery to try new skincare products so I take a more natural approach to skincare. I use the oil cleansing method to keep my skin clean and clear and I just love it!

Another Homemade Brush Cleanser

I showed you guys one way to clean your makeup brushes using household items and now I have another! If you didn’t know, olive oil is excellent at gently removing makeup and has great moisturizing properties so it’s no surprise it’s in yet another cleansing solution. I found that using a bit of dish detergent with about a cap full of olive oil makes cleaning your brushes quick and easy! Plus depending on the detergent you use your brushes can come out smelling amazing. I tried this method the last time I cleaned my brushes and it removed the gunk almost instantly. The Best & Most Gentle Makeup Remover

If you’ve been searching for the most perfect and gentle makeup remover then look no further than your kitchen cabinet.  That’s right ladies.  You’ve been holding on to it all this time! Good ol’ olive oil is great for just about everything! Including wiping away even the toughest of waterproof mascaras.  I’ve been using the wonder oil in my hair for about a year now but once I read about how nicely it cleans and hydrates your face I decided to give it a try.  I’ve been hooked ever since! Every night, I take either a cotton ball or just use my hands and gently massage all of the makeup right off the canvas.  When I’m done, I simply wash my face and enjoy my clean, soft and supple skin until it’s time to start the process all over.  If you haven’t already give olive oil a try! You’ll be amazed at how well it tackles whatever you toss it.
