Nars Pure Radiance Tinted Moisturizer Review

 photo 20130331_105553_zps40e16289.jpg

I don’t wear foundations or tinted moisturizers regularly but I find myself reaching for my Nars Pure Radiance tinted moisturizer pretty often these days! I don’t have any scars, blemishes or discoloration really so I try to opt for lighter formulas with natural finish and this tinted moisturizer is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It feels very light on and gives the most flawless yet natural finish. It doesn’t even look like I’m wearing anything when I have it on. It’s amazing!

The formula is very creamy and light yet buildable and covers pretty well. Although it suits my problem free skin just fine I think it would work great for ladies who need more coverage too. It won’t be able to replace your favorite full coverage foundation but it’ll definitely give you the coverage you need especially when paired with a nice concealer! Pure Radiance lasts me all day without fading and it’s formulated without parabens (and other harsh chemicals) so it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. My skin is more on the dry side so I’m not too sure how it would work with oily skin gals but I assume with a nice setting powder it should be fine. Plus it protects your skin from harmful rays with SPF 30!

Along with the amazing formula and finish Nars Pure Radiance also comes in a pretty large color range. You’re bound to find your match! Polynesia Dark 1 is a PERFECT match for my skin tone! Although it’s a bit pricey at $42 the quality is certainly well worth it! Nars definitely delivers quality!

Sephora Haul!

 photo 20130309_134914_zpsae3ce55a.jpg

I was doing so well with my makeup no buy until I walked into Sephora! NARS tempted me not just once, but twice! Last week I picked up a blush and bronzer duo and over the weekend I managed to haul even more. I started off at the NARS counter because I just really love his makeup! It’s a bit pricey but such excellent quality and I feel like I need to add more to collection (even during a no buy lol). Since NARS released their Pure Radiance tinted moisturizer I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things about it so I decided to try it out. Lucky for me the Dark 1 Polynesian shade is a pretty great match for my skin! It felt pretty good when I put it on and I just love NARS Sheer Glow foundation so I’m sure I’ll love this too! Of course, I can’t break a no buy and NOT buy a lippe! I picked up this super beautiful orange coral Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte lipstick called Extreme Coral. The name certainly fits because this lipstick is super bright. It’ll be perfect for spring and summer!

I did damage in the perfume section thanks to my Beauty to go sampler! I loved Daisy and Loverdose so much that I decided to grab them and just use my scent certificate for Light Blue. I’m probably going to end up with the full size bottle of Daisy soon because it’s just too cute not to have on my vanity! I also decided to try out Chloe and ended up falling in love with it. It has such a sweet subtle floral scent that I can’t get enough of right now! I’m going to continue to try sticking to my makeup no buy but it’s such a challenge!
