When I first heard that MAC was releasing a Maleficent themed summer collection I was insanely excited. Soon after, the color story and pictures began to surface and my excitement was completely squashed. It was so plain and boring! Not to mention not very brown girl friendly either. I was going to pass initially but after seeing all the swatches and selfies of True Love’s Kiss I was sucked right in! I’m quite glad I reconsidered. True Love’s Kiss is beautiful!

It is hard finding limited edition drugstore collections! I can’t tell you how long I stalked my local CVS and Walgreens to track down the new Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Summer Collection. I can say that I’m crazy excited to finally get my hands on the new limited edition lipsticks though! They were well worth the hunt!
Don’t you just love NARS? I know I do! NARS just does everything right. Especially the blushes! I was pretty darn excited when the Matte Multiples released because I just knew they’d be a hit! I’m still in the process of testing these beauties but I still wanted to share some swatches and first impressions with you.Take a look!
The moment I laid eyes on the Maybelline Bleached Neons Color Elixirs I knew I had to have Luxe in Lilac! I have a serious love affair with lavender lippies. Really serious. I love them almost as much as my pinks and that’s saying a lot!

Ahh, it feels so good to blog again! It’s only been two days since my last post but my laptop has been giving me a hard time for weeks making it impossible to really get anything done. It looks like it may have finally died today. Honestly, it won’t be missed. D’oh! I know this is all about Marge but I just couldn’t help myself lol. I was pretty excited when I found out MAC is planning to release a Marge Simpson themed collection this fall! The combination is a little weird but it sounds like such fun! The Maleficent collection was such a disappointment so I’m hoping MAC will redeem themselves and make this collection extra unique and creative. I’d love to see a blue lipstick and some special packaging! But considering that Marge doesn’t wear much makeup on a regular basis I’m not quite sure how things will turn out. Let’s all hope the Marge collection will be great!
On any given day I’m toting around 5 (or more) lippies around in my purse. If you asked me why, I’d probably come up with something like, “For some variety, man!” It’s probably more of an “I rarely clean out my purse kind of thing” though. However, no matter how many lipsticks come and go I’ve noticed Revlon Berry Haute Super Lustrous never leaves my side. I just love this lipstick!
