When I first heard that MAC was releasing a Maleficent themed summer collection I was insanely excited. Soon after, the color story and pictures began to surface and my excitement was completely squashed. It was so plain and boring! Not to mention not very brown girl friendly either. I was going to pass initially but after seeing all the swatches and selfies of True Love’s Kiss I was sucked right in! I’m quite glad I reconsidered. True Love’s Kiss is beautiful!

It is hard finding limited edition drugstore collections! I can’t tell you how long I stalked my local CVS and Walgreens to track down the new Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Summer Collection. I can say that I’m crazy excited to finally get my hands on the new limited edition lipsticks though! They were well worth the hunt!
I’ve searched high and low for the limited edition Maybelline Bleached Neons Color Elixirs and I’ve finally found them! I believe there are 6 new shades introduced into the collection but I only snagged 4 of them. So far. Take a look!

I’m always excited over new makeup but I can’t even put in words how excited I was to get my hands on one of the limited edition MAC Proenza Schouler ombre blushes! All of MAC’s limited edition pieces are quite difficult to get your hands but these blushes were like unicorn status. The big summer collection is almost here! Every summer, MAC releases a bronze goddess themed collection with special packaging and this year’s is just lovely! Alluring Aquatic is filled with sparkling neutrals and creamy lip colors that’ll give you the perfect poolside look. Oh, and the packaging is to die for! Check it out!
Don’t you just love when you take a chance on something new and it works out great? I know I do! I’m certainly not the biggest red or orange lippie lover but something told me to order Mangrove. Now I can’t stop wearing it! This lipstick is so gorgeous!
My Proenza Schouler haul is finally complete! Well, almost. I’m still debating on ordering Pinkfringe. Did I mention I was addicted to pink lipsticks? Anywho! My ombre blush has arrived! Which is a pretty big deal because MAC had some problems concerning the blushes. The collection was supposed to release earlier this month but was pushed back due to production issues. Somehow the release still turned out to be a disaster! A lot of people had problems tracking down the blushes at all and the ones who snagged them from MAC were sent the wrong shade. So color me excited when my Ocean City ombre blush arrived today from Nordstrom!
I literally just received my Mangrove lipstick from the Proenza Schouler collection and I’m already over the moon! The second I slipped off the cap I threw it on. It’s seriously gorgeous!
